Symposium 2015

Philomathia Symposium 2015

8 December 2015 - Magdalene College, Cambridge

The second annual Philomathia Symposium was held on 8 December 2015 at Magdalene College, Cambridge. Three interdisciplinary panels addressed the broad question of 'What world will we leave our grandchildren?' Speakers included Paul Johnson and Professor Lord Martin Rees. These conversations culminated in a public lecture by Professor Robert Putnam.

Special thanks go to the speakers, panellists and delegates whose questions and insights made for an enjoyable and productive day.

This programme was launched by POLIS in October 2013, and aims to train future policy-makers to value and promote evidence-based policies that can most benefit society.
